    Dns server not updating records

Can anyone tell me how to setup my DNS clients to automatically update their PTR records? I've gone through the options and everything seems to be setup correctly, there must be something I'm missing.

I can do it manually by going through the "Properties" in each client, unchecking and re-checking "Update associated pointer (PTR) record" and clicking ok in the "Forward Lookup Zones" for our domain.

Very strange, I have used the SOA record from the information gathered using the site 'into DNS' EDIT: I would also like to note that the SOA that 'into DNS' gives me for my clients domain is different from the one that is in the records (for ns1) from the client provided screenshot.

In this case, you would need to add a CNAME for “store” or “blog” to the DNS record for

The cache is cleared over a certain amount of time.

So, does anybody have any ideas or tips or anything for me to try and implement? When you do an 'nslookup' on the SOA does it give the right answer?Pinging the SOA using 'nslookup' gives me a timeout. The old server is running using Nginx while the new one is running using Apache2.I am clueless as to why this is happening because using another registrar I have successfully updated DNS records for other clients which all point to the new server correctly.
